Aminoglutethimide (Cytadren) is a medication originally developed as an anti-convulsant and later repurposed for the treatment of Cushing’s syndrome and certain hormone-sensitive cancers. In the world of bodybuilding and sports performance, it is used as an aromatase inhibitor to control estrogen levels during anabolic steroid cycles. By suppressing the production of estrogen, Aminoglutethimide helps athletes avoid side effects such as gynecomastia, water retention, and high blood pressure. When used correctly, it can be an effective tool for optimizing performance and achieving desired physique goals.
Steroid usage: Aminoglutethimide is typically used during anabolic steroid cycles as an adjunct therapy to control estrogen levels and minimize side effects related to elevated estrogen levels. It works by blocking the enzyme aromatase, which is responsible for converting androgens into estrogens.
Side effects: Some possible side effects of Aminoglutethimide include drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, and rash. More severe side effects, such as allergic reactions, adrenal insufficiency, and liver toxicity, are rare but should be monitored for.
Proper dosages: The recommended dosage of Aminoglutethimide varies depending on the individual’s needs and the specific steroid cycle being used. Generally, dosages range from 125 to 250 mg per day, taken in divided doses.
Cycle example: A typical Aminoglutethimide cycle would involve using the drug in conjunction with an anabolic steroid cycle for 8-12 weeks. The dosage should be adjusted according to individual tolerance and the specific steroids being used. It is essential to monitor estrogen levels throughout the cycle to avoid under- or over-suppression.

I was hoping for better results from Cytadren

January 11, 2023

As a bodybuilder, I was hoping for better results from Cytadren. It did help a bit with cortisol management, but the side effects of fatigue and muscle weakness were too much for me to handle. I won’t be using it again.

I incorporated Cytadren into my supplement stack

January 10, 2023

I incorporated Cytadren into my supplement stack, and it did help to control cortisol levels during intense training. However, the side effects like drowsiness and decreased energy made it difficult for me to maintain my workout intensity.

Cytadren has been a mixed bag for me

January 6, 2023

Cytadren has been a mixed bag for me. While it did provide some benefits in managing cortisol levels and aiding fat loss, the drawbacks, like feeling weak and tired, outweigh the positives. I think there are better alternatives out there.

I tried Cytadren to aid in fat loss and control cortisol

December 1, 2022

I tried Cytadren to aid in fat loss and control cortisol levels during my cutting phase. While I noticed a slight improvement in fat loss, it was accompanied by increased fatigue and lethargy. It’s not the right fit for me.
